A brand new Tourist Information Centre has recently opened in the heart of Tiraspol, the capital of Transnistria.

The tourism information centre is a place where both residents and visitors can have access to high-quality and neutral information about the tourism destinations in Transnistria (tourist itineraries, cultural events, travel agencies, accomodation facilities, public transportation, catering etc).

It was established as part of the “Building business relations on hospitality industry on both banks of the river Dniester” conducted by the Agency for Regional Development of Transnistria together with the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of Moldova. The project was implemented within the framework of the programme funded by the European Union “Support to Confidence Building Measures” implemented by UNDP Moldova.

The centre also sells local souvenirs of national craft and handicraft.

    Finally, it proposes B2B meetings

Moldova Tours 2.0 and the Agency for Regional Development of Transnistria plan to cooperate in the future on the promotion of tourism in Transnistria.
